3-Vehicle Crash Results in Motorcyclist Being Hospitalized
ANAHEIM, Calif. (May 21, 2024) — An Anaheim motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, below the La Palma Avenue overpass.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:01 a.m. on May 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Ford Explorer SUV, a gold Toyota sedan and the motorcyclist were involved.
The motorcyclist was struck in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the I-5 Freeway, the report said.
Paramedics from Metro Net Fire Authority responded and rushed the injured motorcycle rider to UCI Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries the person suffered in the crash.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 5 Freeway in Anaheim.
