Motorcyclist Injured in Anaheim Crash on State Route 57

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured in an Anaheim car accident Wednesday morning on the Orange 57 Freeway at Ball Road.

The traffic accident occurred in the southbound lanes of SR-57 at around 6:54 a.m. on Dec. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials report a gray Nissan Sentra sedan collided with the motorcyclist in the fast lane and the rider went down in the number two lane of the freeway.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured rider, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital.

Police issued a SigAlert due to the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes being blocked by the crash and emergency responders.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Anaheim motorcycle accident on the 57 Freeway.
