Motorcyclist Injured in Anaheim Hit-and-Run on 91 Freeway at Weir Canyon
ANAHEIM, CA ( May 16, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a motorcyclist on the 91 Freeway at Weir Canyon Road in Anaheim.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on May 15 shortly after 12 p.m.
According to CHP, a gray Ford Edge struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason in Anaheim. The two crashed on the eastbound 91 Freeway at the Weir Canyon Road off-ramp.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the female driver of the Ford and did not stop to render aid to the rider. The woman in his 50s fled eastbound on the 91 Freeway to northbound 15 Freeway transition.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Anaheim hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
