2-Vehicle Collision on Deschutes Road in Anderson
ANDERSON, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2023) – A two-vehicle crash on Deschutes Road in Anderson happened Monday afternoon near Highway 273 and the Interstate 5.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the 4:26 p.m. car accident, according to Action News Now.
The drivers of a white minivan and a small blue sedan were involved. The driver in the blue car was heading north on Deschutes Road when they allegedly drove through a red traffic light. The car reportedly T-boned the southbound minivan as it tried to make a left-hand turn at the intersection. The minivan subsequently overturned onto its side.
Anderson Police responded to the scene near the Jack in the Box restaurant.
There were four passengers between the two vehicles, police said. .
Paramedics responded and rushed two people from one of the vehicles to the hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Deschutes Road in Anderson.
