Sedan and Pickup Truck Collide
ANDERSON, California (July 25, 2016) – A 2-car crash on Highway 273 and Pinon Avenue sent several people to the hospital Monday afternoon, according to KRCRTV.
The collision involving a sedan and pickup truck took place around 2:30 p.m., northwest of the Shasta Outlets.
As per the article, fire department officials long with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that a total of six victims were hurt and were transported to the hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the patients was reportedly taken on a trauma alert for ankle injuries. Their names and condition were not immediately available.
Meanwhile, Anderson police believed that a vehicle involved ran a red light, prompting the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
