1 Seriously Injured in Anderson Crash at Highway 273 and Hill Street
ANDERSON, CA (April 30, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 273 and Hill Street in Anderson.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:38 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Anderson. One t-boned the other on southbound Highway 273 at the intersection with Hill Street.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as possibly a red GMC and a silver Hyundai. Both of them obtained major damage due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near an elementary school. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 273 and Hill Street to shut down for nearly an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Anderson crash is still under investigation.
