Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision at Shaw Avenue and Millbrook Monday
Fresno, CA (November 8, 2021) – Andres Ramirez Orozco, an 18-year-old man, died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Shaw and Millbrook Avenue.
According to ABC30 News, Andres Orozco was behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Jetta traveling in the streets of northeast Fresno. Officials said the Volkswagen collided with a Toyota Camry at the intersection of Shaw and Millbrook.
Preliminary investigation revealed as the Volkswagen and the Toyota approached Millbrook Avenue, a third vehicle pulled out in front of them. Given that, the Volkswagen and the Toyota both swerved to avoid the third vehicle; but ended up crashing into one another.

The force from the impact caused the vehicle of Andres Orozco to spin across all the traffic lanes. Shortly after 1 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found the Volkswagen slammed into a tree. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the teenager driver but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, the occupants in the Toyota reportedly appeared unharmed after the incident.
Authorities said the third vehicle fled the scene after the crash. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
