Andrew Fenderson, 19, Suspect in Deadly Car Accident on Ming Avenue
Bakersfield, CA (June 24, 2021) – Police arrested 19-year-old Andrew Fenderson in relation with a fatal car crash that occurred on Ming Avenue on February 17, 2021.
The Bakersfield Now reported Andrew Fenderson was behind the wheel of a 2004 BMW 325i traveling at a high rate of speed on the streets of Bakersfield. While driving on Ming Avenue, the teen driver apparently lost control and nearly collided with another car. The BMW ended up slamming into two poles along Ming Avenue.

Shortly after 10:25 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found two passengers lifeless. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victims but they both sadly died.
A third passenger, and Andrew Fenderson reportedly both sustained major injuries from the collision. Medical personnel transported the patients to the hospital for treatment.
Officers recently arrested Andrew Fenderson for two counts of murder; two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated; assault with a deadly weapon; driving under the influence of drugs causing injury; driving while license suspended; expired registration, and no insurance.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
