Pedestrian Andrew Lopez, 31, Killed in Hesperia Crash Near Cottonwood and Juniper
HESPERIA, CA (November 8, 2022) – Andrew Lopez was killed after a pedestrian crash near Cottonwood Avenue and Juniper Street in Hesperia.
The coroner’s office identified the 31-year-old Hesperia man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Sunday.
The incident happened when Andrew Lopez was walking on northbound Cottonwood Avenue near Juniper Street in Hesperia. A 2017 Nissan Altima was traveling in the same direction at the time.
Man Hit by Car
Deputies said for an unknown reason, the car struck him. The Victor Valley News wrote that the accident occurred on November 6 at about 10:29 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived and found the victim down on the ground. He sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision.
Andrew Lopez soon died at the scene of the pedestrian accident. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the driver of the car stopped or stayed ay the site after the collision.
