Motorcyclist Andrew Ramirez, 28, Killed Cathedral City Crash
CATHEDRAL CITY (December 17, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision along East Palm Canyon Drive on Saturday, December 15, according to KESQ and KMIR News.
Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 28-year-old Andrew Ramirez, of Desert Hot Springs.
As per the reports, police said Ramirez was riding a motorcycle west on East Palm Canyon Drive when he collided with an SUV at about 5:45 p.m.

The car was exiting the 7- Eleven parking lot and merging into the road when it crashed into the motorcyclist.
Police affirmed that Ramirez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not specified whether or not the motorist in the SUV was hurt following the wreck.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities after the incident happened. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
