Andrew Rios, 22, Fatally Struck by Vehicle Interstate 215 Near Palm Avenue Wednesday
San Bernardino, CA (August 26, 2021) – Andrew Rios, a 22-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 215 on August 25.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported multiple vehicles struck the adult male on 215 Freeway Wednesday evening. Initial records indicated the horrible crash took place in the area near Palm Avenue.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in San Bernardino, August 25
Shortly after 10:13 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene. Respond paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian with severe injuries. Despite life-saving measures, Andrew Rios succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, authorities described the cars found at the crash site as a black Honda Civic; and a white semi truck. The make and model of the other automobiles possibly involved in the unfortunate event remained unknown at this time.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in San Bernardino.
