Andrew Steppan, 16, Hit and Killed by Car in Victorville
VICTORVILLE (January 1, 2019) – A teen pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the area of El Evado and Seneca roads Sunday, December 30, according to Victor Valley News.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as 16-year-old Andrew Steppan, of Victorville.
As per the article, deputies said Steppan was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of El Evado and Seneca roads.
The crash began when three cars, a white Ford pickup truck, a silver Honda Civic and gray Honda Accord, collided for an unknown reason. One vehicle ultimately hit the teenage boy on the road.

Officials affirmed that Steppan was found down and unresponsive in the roadway as a result of the incident. He was immediately taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where he later died.
Meanwhile, the driver of one of the cars involved was treated at the crash site for minor injuries. The name of the motorist was not disclosed.
The pickup truck and the Honda sustained major front-end damage while the Honda had minor damage upon impact. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
