Andrew Wilson, 32, Injured in Car Accident on Highway 108

November 5, 2018 – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 108 Saturday evening, according to a local news source.
Primary reports indicated 32-year-old Andrew Wilson, of Soulsbyville, was driving a Toyota Tundra eastbound on the highway. At about 8:10 p.m., a Ford Focus driven by 31-year-old Christian Vargas-Zermeno reportedly veered into the opposite lane and crashed into Wilson.
The impact forced the Tundra to overturn, and was further hit by a GMC Sierra driven by a 17-year-old male from Sonora.
As per the article, the wreck resulted in minor injuries to Wilson. It was not immediately disclosed if there were other injuries in the crash.
DUI Driver Christian Vargas-Zermeno Arrested After Sonora Car Crash
Shortly after the incident, Vargas-Zermeno was cited for DUI as his level of intoxication contributed to the accident.
The detectives handling the case continue to investigate the collision.
