Andrew Zieman, 30, Killed in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash at Franklin and Union

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 10, 2021) – A pedestrian crash killed Andrew Zieman at Franklin and Union streets in San Francisco.

The Sherman Elementary School identified the 30-year-old paraeducator as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Wednesday.

The incident happened when a car struck Andrew Zieman for an unknown reason in San Francisco. The driver hit him at the intersection of Franklin and Union streets.

Man Hit by Car

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon found the man down on the ground. Andrew Zieman sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the pedestrian collision.

Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. The NBC Bay Area and KRON 4 News wrote that the accident occurred at around 7:55 a.m. in the Cow Hollow neighborhood.

Meanwhile, officers located another vehicle which might have been involved in the crash. The cause of the San Francisco pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
