Andy Hernandez-Iraheta, 24, Killed in Hansen Dam Crash on Wentworth Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 28, 2022) – Andy Hernandez-Iraheta was killed after a car crash on Wentworth Street in Hansen Dam.
The coroner’s office identified the 24-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Friday evening.
The incident happened when Andy Hernandez-Iraheta was riding a vehicle which collided head-on with another in the Hansen Dam area. The cars crashed in the 10800 block of Wentworth Street near the golf course.
2 Critically Injured in Wreck
Andy Hernandez-Iraheta died at the scene of the crash near Lake View Terrace. The KTLA News and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on May 27 at about 7:07 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then rescued two trapped people from the wreckage. Both sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took the patients to a local hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the cause of the Hansen Dam crash is still under investigation.
