Fatal Collision Near Stetson Avenue
Hemet, CA (October 22, 2022) – Angel Rodela Jr., a 39-year-old woman, died following a car accident that occurred on Warren Road.
My News LA published an article online reporting two vehicles that collided near Stetson Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Officials said a Nissan sedan heading south on Warren veered onto the shoulder of the roadway. Our sources indicated the man behind the wheel of the Nissan attempted to drive back into the correct lanes; but instead over-corrected. The Nissan ended up careening into the northbound lanes of Warren directly into the path of a Toyota SUV.
Per local news source, the Nissan and Toyota crashed into each other. The catastrophic incident took place around 3:15 p.m.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found as many as four people suffering in injuries. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to a passenger in the Nissan but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Hemet Police Department identified the deceased as Angel Rodela Jr., of San Jacinto.
Authorities added two other occupants in the Nissan, and the driver of the Toyota were all transported to a regional trauma center for treatment of major injuries.
Further investigation on the deadly crash is ongoing.
