Menifee Woman, 26, Killed in Pedestrian Accident on State Route 74
PERRIS, Calif. (March 1, 2022) — Angela Taylor, 26, of Menifee, died in a Perris pedestrian accident last Monday night on State Route 74 at Hammack Avenue.
The deadly crash happened in the eastbound lanes about 7:21 p.m. on Feb. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver of a Honda Civic reportedly struck the 26-year-old woman in the roadway and then stopped and made efforts to protect the victim from other vehicles. Someone called 911 for help and paramedics with the Riverside County Fire Department responded. Sadly, the Menifee woman died within minutes of the collision at the scene.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time, but investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
