2 Injured in Angeles National Forest Crash on Placerita Canyon Road
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (August 3, 2022) – At least two were hospitalized after a crash on Placerita Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest.
According to The Signal and Hometown Station, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:53 p.m.
The incident happened on August 2 when a Ford F-150 pickup truck was going east on Placerita Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest. At the same time, a Kia Sportage was traveling west.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason, the two cars then collided head-on. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed the driver and passenger of the Kia to the trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Placerita Canyon Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
