Angeles Rodriguez, 55, Killed in Los Angeles DUI Crash

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2023) – Angeles Rodriguez was killed after a DUI crash at Imperial Highway and Main Street in Los Angeles.

Family members identified the 55-year-old Los Angeles woman as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place late last month.

The incident happened when Angeles Rodriguez was driving in the area of Imperial Highway and Main Street in South Los Angeles. At the same time, a vehicle was traveling at high speed in the area.

The speeding driver flew through the intersection and a red light. In the process, the motorist slammed into the victim’s car.

Speeding Drunk Driver Hits Another Car

Both cars then struck utility poles nearby. Police said the impact pushed the vehicle Angeles Rodriguez was in into the corner of a building.

The collision took place on January 22 at about 5 a.m. The FOX LA News and KTLA News wrote that Angeles Rodriguez died at the of the crash.

Meanwhile, police determined that the driver who caused the accident was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Officers soon arrested the motorist on charges of vehicular manslaughter.

Records showed that the suspect posted bail. Meanwhile, loved ones set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the funeral expenses of the victim.

The Los Angeles DUI crash is still under investigation.
