Angelina Bargas, 43, Injured in Hit-and-Run
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 1st
October 2, 2018- According to the Modesto Bee, a pedestrian was injured following a hit-and-run collision last night at the intersection of Carpenter and Paradise roads.
California Highway Patrol officials informed reporters that the incident occurred at roughly 10:15 p.m.
According to the article, Angelina Bargas, 43, of Modesto, had been crossing the intersection before being hit by a red colored vehicle traveling south of Carpenter.
Following the collision, the vehicle’s driver failed to stop and provide aid leaving Bargas behind with very serious injuries.
Bargas Hospitalized at Memorial Medical Center
Bargas was eventually transported via ambulance to Memorial Medical Center, where she continues to remain in serious condition as of Tuesday afternoon.
At this time, authorities have yet to locate the hit-and-run suspect who remains at-large.
