Woman, 36, Killed in Head-on Car Crash on Vallecito Road Near Rolleri Bypass
ANGELS CAMP, Los Angeles County (July 18, 2018) – A 36-year-old woman was killed in a traffic collision on Vallecito Road Sunday evening, according to the Union Democrat.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., the unidentified woman was reportedly driving a 2005 Subaru Impreza eastbound on Vallecito, just to the right of the Rolleri Bypass. As per the article, the woman was rounding a right-hand curve and allowed her vehicle to travel across the double-yellow line into the westbound lane, where is crashed head-on into a 1980 Ford F250.
Primary reports indicated the female driver was overthrown during the impact. The lady was transported by ground ambulance to a landing zone at the Angels Camp Police Department, but succumbed to fatal injuries before her transport to a hospital.
Child, 6, Injured in Angels Camp Car Accident
Authorities said a 6-year-old girl was found in the rear right passenger seat of the Subaru following the wreck. The child reportedly sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Officials mentioned the fatality and the girl shared a last name, but their full identities have not been disclosed thus far.
Rodney Sanders and Dylan Bock Involved in Angeles Camp Head-on Car Crash
Shortly after the crash, the Ford driver was identified as 24-year-old Rodney Sanders, of Vallecito. Sanders and his passenger, 24-year-old Dylan Bock, were apparently unharmed in the collision.
Further investigation on the deadly crash is underway.
