Girl, 14, Injured in Possible Hit-and-Run on San Joaquin Street
ANGELS CAMP (January 10, 2019) – A teen pedestrian was injured after a traffic accident along San Joaquin Street Thursday morning, according to The Union Democrat.
The collision occurred at about 8 a.m. approximately 100 yards from Mark Twain Elementary School, east of Alpine Street.
As per the article, police said for an unknown reason the 14-year-old girl was walking to the school when for an unknown reason she was sideswiped by the passenger side of a vehicle on San Joaquin Street.
Paramedics responded to the site and attended to the young victim who suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. The teen was treated at the scene and was not hospitalized.

Meanwhile, witnesses told police that the female driver involved pulled over and checked on the child got back into her car and left upon seeing that the girl was okay.
The car was described as a dark colored sedan, while the woman was believed to be about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair tied into a bun. She was wearing black sweats, a dark colored sweatshirt and Ugg-type boots.
