3 Injured After Car Crashes Into Chase Bank on Broadway near Naples Street

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Tuesday, November 20th
November 20, 2018 – Several people were injured after a vehicle plowed into a bank on Broadway near Naples Street Tuesday morning, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The accident occurred at about 11:40 a.m.
Primary reports indicated a pickup, driven by an unidentified motorist, crashed through the glass wall of a Chase Bank branch and struck an ATM. The pickup continued to drive through a wall into an office, officials said.
Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to several people found at the scene, who were reportedly in line to use an ATM. As many as three customers suffered what appeared to be minor injuries. The authorities identified two victims as Anna Gonzalez, and Irene Archuleta.
Following the incident, police said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. Further investigation on the case is underway.
