1 Injured in Antelope Crash at Elverta Road and 28th Street
ANTELOPE, CA (September 24, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Elverta Road and 28th Street in Antelope.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The accident happened on September 23 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Antelope. They crashed on eastbound Elverta Road at the 28th Street intersection.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the two cars as a white Toyota Prius and a blue Lexus SUV. The Lexus then obtained front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Antelope Greens Golf Course. They found one person who complained of pain to their neck as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Elverta Road and 28th Street to shut down following the wreck. Officers are still determining the cause of the Antelope crash.
