1 Injured in Crash Near Antelope Road and Antelope Hills Drive
ANTELOPE, CA (April 10, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Antelope Road and Antelope Hills Drive in Antelope.
According to the CBS Sacramento and FOX 40 News, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 1:30 p.m.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. The cars crashed near the intersection of Antelope Road and Antelope Hills Drive.
2 Cars Collide
One occupant ended up trapped inside one car as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated the victim from the wreckage.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound lanes of Antelope Road to shut down near Antelope Hills Drive following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
