1 Injured in Antelope Hit-and-Run Crash at Walerga Road and Elverta Road
ANTELOPE, CA (June 14, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Walerga Road and Elverta Road in Antelope.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Monday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 7:17 p.m.
CHP said a white sedan and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Antelope. The two crashed at the intersection of Walerga Road and Elverta Road.
Car Collision Near Community Park
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Antelope Community Park. They found an occupant of the sedan outside of the car and lying in the grass as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the other vehicle involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers soon forced the intersection of Walerga and Elverta following the wreck.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Antelope hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
