Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man at State Route 138 and 96th Street Sunday
Antelope Valley, CA (August 22, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of State Route 138 and 96th Street Sunday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a vehicle struck an individual at the Antelope Valley intersection. Officials described the car involving in the wreck as a gray Hyundai Sonata.
The CHP logged the incident around 8:22 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Antelope Valley, August 22
When emergency crews arrived at the crash site, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the deadly pedestrian accident in Antelope Valley.
