2 Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 20
Smartsville, CA (October 3, 2022) – Anthony Burgan, and Alyssa Brown both suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Highway 20.
The KNCO News reported a 47-year-old man was driving east on the highway near Slacks Ravine overcrossing. In the area just east of Mooney Flat Road, the eastbound car veered into the opposite lane.
Our sources confirmed the eastbound car slammed head-on into a westbound car driven by 35-year-old Anthony Burgan, of Smartsville. According to the article published online, Burgan and his passenger–25-year-old Alyssa Brown of Yuba City, both sustained moderate to major injuries as a result of the wreck.

Investigators later determined the 47-year-old male driver was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the accident that happened on Highway 20 in Smartsville.
