Boy Struck on Driveway on East Third Street in San Jacinto
SAN JACINTO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2019) — Anthony Carreon has been identified as the one-year-old boy who was struck and killed Monday afternoon in the 300 block of East Third Street.

The collision took place about 3:45 p.m. on February 11, 2019, according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The San Jacinto Police Department responded to the scene of the crash in San Jacinto. The report stated that a man driving a vehicle was backing out of a residential driveway when he collided with the toddler who had been on the ground near the back of the vehicle. The toddler suffered major injuries in the accident. Paramedics rushed him by ambulance to a local hospital where he died. The driver stopped and was cooperative during the investigation. It’s unknown at this time what the relationship is between the driver and the toddler.
The San Jacinto Traffic Reconstruction Team is heading up the investigation.
