Fatal Crash on Highway 160 in Sacramento Sunday
Sacramento– According to the Sacramento Bee, a deadly crash resulted in the deaths of three young adults Sunday evening on Highway 160.
The collision involved a single vehicle and occurred at roughly 7:30 p.m. when the driver of an SUV lost control, struck a tree and overturned.
All three parties inside- the driver and two passengers, all sadly suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced at the scene.
Per the Sacramento Bee, the victims were identified as Joshua Rubio, 24, of Lincoln, Anthony Frausto, 23, of Roseville, and Anna Gonzalez, 20, Lincoln.
Authorities have not released who was operating the SUV and whether drugs or alcohol were involved as California Highway Patrol officials continue their investigation.
