Anthony Fults, 21, Seriously Injured in Arnold Hit-and-Run Crash on Fullen Road
ARNOLD, CA (February 10, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured Anthony Fults on Fullen Road in Arnold.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 21-year-old man as the victim of the wreck which took place last month.
The incident happened when Anthony Fults was riding a motorcycle on Fullen Road, south of Avery Sheep Ranch Road, in Arnold.
The motorcyclist rounded a corner and saw a black SUV approaching. The Calaveras Enterprise wrote that he then laid the motorcycle down to avoid a collision.
CHP said in the process, the driver of the car struck Anthony Fults. The accident occurred on a Saturday, January 22, at about 7:25 p.m.
Driver Hits Motorcyclist, Flees Scene
The rider ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics found him down on the ground and soon rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other motorist stopped briefly and fled the area. They added that the car has yellow-looking headlights and obtained a broken driver’s side headlight.
Officers are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect, a man wearing shorts, who left Anthony Fults wounded in the roadway.
