Fatal Sacramento Crash Florin Road and Muson Way
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (January 21, 2022) – Anthony Martinez, 34, of Sutter Creek, died Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash at Florin Road and Munson Way in Sacramento.
The deadly, two-vehicle crash happened about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19th, according to CBS Sacramento and KCRA News.
Authorities report a car and a motorcycle collided for an unknown reason at the Sacramento intersection. It’s unknown what led up to the deadly crash at this time.
Firefighters and paramedics responded and located two people with injuries including Anthony Martinez who was operating the motorcycle and his passenger.
Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Injured in Sacramento Crash
Sadly, despite efforts by medical workers, he died at the scene. The Sacramento coroner identified the man who died on their website.
Additionally, paramedics transported the injured motorcycle passenger to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car stopped and cooperated with officials at the crash scene. Investigators temporarily closed down the intersection of Florin Road and Munson Way.
Finally, the cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
