Man, 61, Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck
NEEDLES, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2023) — Anthony Miller, 61, of Desert Hot Springs, died in a two-vehicle truck accident Tuesday, Dec. 19th on the southbound US Route 95 in the Needles area of San Bernardino County.
The collision between a semi-truck and a Ford F-250 pickup truck occurred at around 8:33 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the roadway was blocked by the vehicles in both directions. Paramedics responded to help those injured, but unfortunately Anthony Miller sustained major injuries and died at the scene. It’s unknown if anyone else was also hospitalized.
Traffic investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision, but there are no specific details about the cause of the crash at this time.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles for evidence.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office and CHP officials are handling the investigation into the fatal truck accident in Needles.
