Anthony Reibin, 31, Hospitalized After Car Accident Near Old Sonora Columbia Road Thursday
Jamestown, CA (May 21, 2021) – On May 20, Thursday, a traffic collision occurred on Highway 49 and resulted in injuries to 31-year-old Anthony Reibin.
The Union Democrat News reported Anthony Reibin, of Sonora, was a passenger in a 2005 Kia Sportage traveling north on Highway 49. When the vehicle approached the area near Old Sonora Columbia Road, the Kia to veered off the roadway.
First responders found the Kia slammed into a tree along the highway.
Shortly after 7:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found Anthony Reibin and the driver with serious injuries. Paramedics then rushed the two patients to Adventist Health Sonora for treatment.

Investigators later determined the 37-year-old woman driving the Kia was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Further investigation on the case is underway.
