Man, 63, Killed in Head-on Truck Accident
LAKEVILLE, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2023) — Anthony Scott, 63, of Sebastopol, died Tuesday in a multi-vehicle Lakeville crash on Highway 116 also known as Stage Gulch Road in Sonoma County.
The four-vehicle collision occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st on state Route 116 in Sonoma County, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
Police reported three sedans were heading westbound on Highway 116 when a 39-year-old Crockett man driving eastbound in a moving truck crossed over the double yellow lines and collided with the oncoming vehicles.

Anthony Scott was driving a Chevrolet Camaro and was killed in the crash, according to The Mercury News.
Meanwhile, the other two vehicles were a Lexus driven by a 67-year-old Sebastopol woman and a Jeep SUV driven by a 43-year-old Rio Vista woman.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the deadly collision between the four motorists.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and treated two the two surviving motorists for minor to moderate injuries.
There are no further details at this time. Finally, investigators continue to work on the circumstacnes involved in the Lakeville crash on Highway 116.
