3 Seriously injured in Antioch Crash at Lone Tree Way and Golf Course Road
ANTIOCH, CA (May 18, 2022) – Several were seriously injured after a car crash at Lone Tree Way and Golf Course Road in Antioch.
According to a report by the East County Today, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers said the incident happened at about 10:02 a.m.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Antioch. They crashed at the intersection of Lone Tree Way and Golf Course Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Two of them sustained critical injuries and the third survived with major injuries. Medical personnel then took all three patients to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Officials described them as a 51-year-old woman and two men, ages 37 and 60.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Lone Tree and Golf Course to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Antioch crash is still under investigation.
