1 Killed, 2 Injured in Antioch Crash on James Donlon Boulevard Near Silverado
ANTIOCH, CA (December 4, 2022) – A car crash killed one person and injured two others on James Donlon Boulevard in Antioch.
According to an article published by the KTVU News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday. Antioch police said the incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city.
The vehicles crashed in a residential area on James Donlon Boulevard near Silverado Drive. Officers described the cars involved as a BMW and a pickup truck.
2 Cars Collide
An occupant of the pickup ended up ejected from the truck as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced that individual dead at the scene.
At least two people riding the BMW ended up hurt following the incident. Medical personnel rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of James Donlon Boulevard to shut down for a time after the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Antioch crash is still under investigation.
