2 Workers Injured in Antioch DUI Collision on Garrow Drive
ANTIOCH, CA (September 17, 2020) – Two pedestrians were injured after an alleged DUI collision along Garrow Drive late Thursday morning.
According to an article published by East County Today, officers received a call about the accident at around 11:24 a.m. in the 3100 block of Garrow Drive.
Police affirmed that a vehicle struck two workers who were working on the side of the roadway on Garrow Drive at the time.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found both victims who ended up hurt following the crash. One of the suffered major head trauma while the other sustained a hip injury.
An air ambulance transported at least one of them to the hospital for treatment. The names of the wounded patients and their condition at this moment were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police determined that the male driver who hit the workers was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Two other people were reportedly riding with him when the accident occurred.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
