Antonio Garcia, 62, Killed in Pomona Crash on West Valley Boulevard
POMONA, CA (June 1, 2023) – Antonio Garcia was killed after a crash on West Valley Boulevard in Pomona.
The coroner’s office identified the 62-year-old Bell man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Antonio Garcia was riding as a passenger in a vehicle which collided with another in the city of Pomona.
1 Badly Injured in Wreck
Police said the two crashed in the 4100 block of West Valley Boulevard, at the terminal point of the 710 Freeway. My News LA wrote that the collision occurred on May 30 at about 5:05 a.m.
Antonio Garcia died as a result of the crash. The driver of the vehicle he was in sustained moderate injuries following the accident.
Paramedics then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the report added that the other motorist ended up unharmed upon impact.
Officers forced a stretch of West Valley Boulevard to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Pomona crash is still under investigation.
