Man Badly Hurt in Collision at Highway 29 and 1st Street Saturday
Napa, CA (October 11, 2021) – Antonio Zunigaperez, a 20-year-old man, suffered injuries following a motorcycle crash that occurred on Highway 29 Saturday evening.
The Napa Valley Register News reported Antonio Zunigaperez was riding a Yamaha R6 motorbike traveling south on the highway in Napa. Preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclist was about to leave the freeway at the First Street exit ramp; when he collided with a Ford F-350 pickup truck. Officials said the Ford was turning from First Street onto the southbound Highway 29 onramp when the crash happened.

Shortly after 8:05 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found the rider lying on the ground. Paramedics rendered aid to Antonio Zunigaperez, then transported him to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision in Napa.
