Antwon Washington, 29, Fatal Victim in Multi-Vehicle Collision at Panama Lane and Stine Road
Bakersfield, CA (April 1, 2021) – Antwon Washington died following a car accident in the area of Panama Lane and Stine Road on March 17, Wednesday.
The KGET News reported Antwon Washington was behind the wheel of a 2012 Maserati Quattroporte traveling in Bakaersfield. Initial records indicated the Maserati was driving at a high-rate of speed and appeared to be racing against a 2020 Cadillac XT5.
When the two speeding vehicles approached the intersection at Panama Lane and Stine Road, they collided into each other. Officials added the wreck involving a third car, a 2014 Dodge Challenger.
First responders found at the scene Antwon Washington ejected from their car. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the driver but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the 2014 Dodge Challenger fled the site after the crash. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the fatal hit-and-run crash in Bakersfield.
