ANZA, California (October 21, 2014) – Two people were hospitalized including one with major injuries Sunday night in a head-on collision on the eastbound Highway 74 at Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail in Riverside County, according to an incident report by the Riverside County Fire Department.
The collision was reported about 8:20 p.m. between three drivers. One of those injured suffered major injuries and was transported by Mercy Air ambulance to a nearby hospital. A second person suffered moderate injuries and was also hospitalized.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
