1 Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 371 Monday
Anza, CA (May 31, 2021) – One person died following a car accident on Highway 371 Monday afternoon, the CBS Los Angeles News reported.
Officials said a single-vehicle collision along eastbound Highway 371 near the Cahuilla Creek Casino. According to the article published online, the red vehicle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason.
The car ended up crashing down the embankment.
Fatal Car Accident in Anza, May 31
When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found the driver trapped in the car engulfed in flames. Responding firefighters reportedly worked extensively to extricate the motorist. After rescue teams successfully pulled out the driver, paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the driver, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car accident in Anza.
