Two-Vehicle Collision on Yucca Loma Bridge
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (Dec. 10, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident occurred happened Monday night on the Yucca Loma Bridge near Kasanka Trail in Apple Valley.
The crash occurred on Monday night, December 9th, around 7:38 PM, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The drivers involved were traveling in a red Jeep Wrangler and a Nissan Altima, the VVNG report said.
Witnesses told authorities the Nissan became stalled in traffic lanes. Meanwhile, a young female driving the Jeep tried to swerve to avoid the vehicle, but rear-ended the vehicle. Upon impact, the Jeep overturned several times.
Paramedics responded and transported the female driver of the Jeep to St. Mary’s Medical Center as a precaution, but there were no major injuries.
Investigators from the Apple Valley Police Department closed down the westbound lanes of Yucca Loma Road for more than an hour to allow their traffic detectives to process the scene.
