Woman Injured in Apple Valley Accident at Deep Creek and Bear Valley
APPLE VALLEY (September 5, 2018) – A driver was hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Deep Creek and Bear Valley roads Wednesday night, according to Victor Valley News.
The accident involving two vehicles was reported at about 8:13 p.m.
As per the article, Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station said a woman was driving a pickup truck east on Bear Valley Road in the No. 1 lane when at the same time a Cadillac driven by a man was headed west in the turn lanes.
Car Accident at Deep Creek and Bear Valley Roads Wednesday
The Cadillac allegedly failed to yield to the the truck as the male motorist made his left turn. He ultimately collided with the driver side of the pickup at the intersection of Deep Creek and Bear Valley.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the woman pinned inside her car. The victim was extricated from the wreckage and was taken to a local hospital with a possible broken leg. Her name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, deputies affirmed that both drivers had the green light when the wreck occurred. The man in the Cadillac refused to be treated at the crash site. The investigation is ongoing.
