8 Injured in Apple Valley Crash on Bear Valley Road Near Tractor Supply Store
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 3, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Bear Valley Road near a store in Apple Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:12 p.m.
The incident began when a blue sedan was traveling down the center divider of Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley at a high rate of speed.
Police said the speeding driver then veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a white SUV and a brown pickup truck. The cars crashed at 20340 Bear Valley Road in front of the Tractor Supply.
Speeding Driver Hits Cars
A witness claimed that the suspect tried to leave the car with severe mouth trauma. Seven other people, including several children, ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patients to the hospital, and listed at least one of them in critical condition. Six victims survived with minor to moderate injuries.
A personal vehicle took one person to a local hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of all the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Apple Valley crash is still under investigation.
