APPLE VALLEY, CALIF. (Jan. 24, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash in Apple Valley on Highway 18 happened Tuesday morning near Flat Head Road.
The collision occurred about 11 a.m. on Jan. 24th, 2023 at the Apple Valley intersection, according to Victor Valley News Group.
Police redirected traffic away from Highway 18 for roughly an hour after the collision.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision between the drivers of a gray 2019 Honda CRV and a Ford Explorer. It happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 18.
However, the report stated the Ford had major front end damage and the Honda had rear-end damage in what was possibly a rear-end collision.
Paramedics and emergency crews responded together with police to the scene.
It’s unknown how many people were hurt in the Apple Valley crash on Highway 18.
Meanwhile, authorities are piecing together what happened to determine fault.
