Driver Possibly Injured in Car Accident at Rancherias and Zuni Roads
LOCATION: Apple Valley

September 2, 2018 – A suspected DUI car crash occurred in the area of Rancherias and Zuni roads Friday afternoon, according to Victor Valley News.
Shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday, firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, American Medical Response (AMR), and Apple Valley deputies responded at the intersection of Rancherias and Zuni roads and found an older model white Toyota pick-up off the roadway.
Preliminary investigation revealed the Toyota driver was intoxicated while driving, and veered off the road. The vehicle continued driving until it crashed through a chain-linked fence in the area.
The male driver of the Toyota was reportedly rescued and evaluated by paramedics at the scene.
No other details were immediately released. Investigators handling the case continue to work fully understand what happened here and why.
