2 Killed, 4 Injured in Apple Valley Crash Near Deep Creek Road and Poppy Street
APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 6, 2021) – A car crash killed two people and injured several others near Deep Creek Road and Poppy Street in Apple Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:23 p.m.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said a blue Toyota Corolla and a gray 4-door sedan collided for an unknown reason in Apple Valley. The Toyota rolled onto its side as a result of the collision.
2 Cars Collide in Apple Valley
The two crashed near the intersection of Deep Creek Road and Poppy Street. CHP mentioned that the Corolla cut the other vehicle off before hitting it.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced two individuals dead at the scene. A total of four parties ended up hurt due to the impact of the crash.
Air and ground ambulances took the patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials forced Deep Creek Road to close in both directions near Poppy Street following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Apple Valley crash is still under investigation.
