Pedestrian Killed in Apple Valley Crash on Outer Highway 18
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 10, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian on Outer Highway 18 in Apple Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:12 p.m.
The sheriff’s department said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Apple Valley. The incident happened on Outer Highway 18 between Standing Rock Avenue and Erie Road.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the victim down on the ground. Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced both sides of Outer Highway 18 to shut down for a time due to the collision. The cause of the fatal Apple Valley pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
